As a family with two young children, we’ve poured our hearts into this business. We’ve spent countless hours ensuring that every plant we offer is healthy, vibrant, and ready to thrive in your home or garden. Twice or three times a week, we rise early to visit greenhouses in Surrey or Abbotsford, handpicking each plant with care and attention.
What we love most is sharing this passion with you—helping you find the perfect plant, offering advice on how to care for it, and working together to create spaces that feel alive and beautiful. Nothing makes us happier than seeing the joy plants bring into your lives.
The Challenges of Being Small but Mighty
Running a small, family-owned business has its ups and downs. There have been moments when family needs or traffic delays meant we couldn’t open on time—or, on rare occasions, had to close unexpectedly. We always do our best to keep you updated on Facebook, but we know it’s not always ideal, and we’re truly sorry for any inconvenience caused. Your patience and understanding mean the world to us.
A New Chapter: Moving to Kitsilano
Change is on the horizon. After December, DH Garden Centre will be relocating to Kitsilano, Vancouver. While we’ll have a new address, our connection to North Vancouver remains strong. We’ll continue to offer delivery to North Vancouver and nearby areas 1-2 days a week, depending on demand. No matter where we are, serving you will always be at the heart of what we do.
